Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting your manuscript to the Journal of Natural Science Research and Review (JNSRR), please ensure that your submission complies with the following requirements. Completing this checklist will streamline the editorial process and enhance your manuscript’s chances for successful peer review.

Manuscript Compliance

  •  Originality: The manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Any previous publication or simultaneous submission must be clearly disclosed.

  •  File Format: The submission file is in a supported format such as Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx), OpenOffice, RTF, or PDF if allowed.

  •  Text Formatting: The manuscript is prepared using a 12-point font, single or double-spaced as per guidelines, with italics used instead of underlining (except for URLs). All illustrations, figures, and tables are embedded in the text at appropriate places.

  •  Language Quality: The manuscript is written in clear, professional English with proper grammar and spelling.

  •  Adherence to Guidelines: The manuscript follows the journal’s stylistic and bibliographic requirements, including structure, referencing style (APA, Harvard, or Vancouver), and word limits.

  •  Title Page: Includes a concise and informative title (maximum 15 words), full names of all authors, their institutional affiliations, country, and complete contact details of the corresponding author.

  •  Abstract and Keywords: Contains a structured abstract of 150–200 words and 4–8 relevant keywords reflecting the study.

  •  Manuscript Sections: Organized properly into Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgments (if any), and References.

  •  References: All citations are complete, relevant, recent, properly formatted, and, where available, URLs are provided.

  •  Figures and Tables: All are numbered, titled, and cited in the text, with legends clearly provided. High-quality versions are included if required.

  •  Ethical Compliance: Includes necessary statements on funding, conflicts of interest, data availability, and ethical approvals where applicable.

  •  Author Contributions: Each author’s role is clearly described in the manuscript.

  •  Plagiarism Check: The manuscript has been screened to ensure originality and does not exceed the set similarity threshold (usually 15%).

Authors and Submission Details

  •  Authorship: All authors have approved the final version of the manuscript and agree with its submission to JNSRR.

  •  Cover Letter: Includes a statement on the manuscript’s originality, significance, and confirms it is not submitted elsewhere. If applicable, the proposed reviewers may be suggested.

  •  Supplementary Files: Any additional data, codes, or appendices are provided as separate, clearly labeled files.

  •  Compliance with Peer Review: For submissions to peer-reviewed sections, authors have followed instructions to ensure blind review (e.g., removing identifiers).

  •  Metadata: All required submission metadata fields (title, abstract, authors, keywords) are correctly completed in the online submission system.
