Author Guidelines

Journal of Natural Science Research and Review (JNSRR)

The Journal of Natural Science Research and Review (JNSRR) welcomes original, high-quality submissions across all fields of natural sciences. To ensure a smooth review and publication process, authors are required to carefully follow these guidelines when preparing their manuscripts.

1. General Requirements

  • Originality: Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

  • Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English.

  • Scope: The work should be relevant to natural science disciplines, including (but not limited to) life sciences, physical and chemical sciences, environmental research, earth sciences, and interdisciplinary studies.

2. Manuscript Structure and Preparation

Title Page

  • Concise, descriptive title (maximum 15 words).

  • Full author names, institutional affiliations, country, and email addresses.

  • Clearly designate the corresponding author and provide full contact details.

Abstract and Keywords

  • Structured abstract (150–200 words) summarizing objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions.

  • Provide 4–8 relevant keywords, separated by commas.

Main Manuscript Sections

Organize the manuscript with the following typical sections:

  1. Introduction: Context, objectives, and a concise review of relevant literature. Provide citations to recent, relevant studies.

  2. Materials and Methods: Detailed description of experimental design, materials, and procedures to allow for replication.

  3. Results: Clear presentation of research findings using text, tables, and figures as appropriate.

  4. Discussion: Interpretation and implications of results, comparison to existing literature, and limitations.

  5. Conclusions: Main takeaways, significance, and, where appropriate, recommendations or future research directions.

  6. Acknowledgments (if applicable): Recognize funding, institutional, or individual support.

  7. References: Use a consistent international style (APA, Harvard, or Vancouver). Cite only pertinent and recent sources.

  • Tables and Figures: Embed within the text, sequentially numbered with clear titles and legends. Also submit as separate files, if required.

  • Supplementary Material: Include data, additional figures, or methods as supplementary files if relevant.

Formatting

  • Word limit: ~8,000 words (including references, tables, and figures).

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12pt; double-spaced; 1-inch margins.

  • File format: MS Word (.doc/.docx) or PDF.

3. Ethical Declarations

  • Funding Information: Disclose all sources of funding, with grant numbers and the role of funders. If none, state: "No funding available for the manuscript."

  • Conflict of Interest: Declare all potential conflicts. If none, state: “The authors declare that they have no conflict of interest.”

  • Data Availability Statement: Specify availability of data (e.g., in a public repository, with details) or state if it is available upon request or with restrictions.

  • Research Ethics: Submissions involving animal or human data must include a statement of ethical approval and consent (where applicable).

4. Authorship and Contributions

  • List as authors only those who made substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study.

  • Clearly state each author’s contribution (e.g., conceptualization, methodology, data analysis, writing, supervision).

5. Submission Procedure

  • Submit manuscripts via the JNSRR online submission portal.

  • Include a cover letter detailing the manuscript’s originality, significance, and confirming it is not under consideration elsewhere.

  • Optionally, suggest 3–5 potential reviewers with expertise in your subject area.

6. Review and Publication

  • All manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening for scope, originality, and formatting.

  • Submissions passing screening proceed to double-blind peer review by independent reviewers.

  • Authors will receive decisions (accept, minor revision, major revision, or rejection) along with constructive feedback.

7. Final Submission Checklist

  •  Manuscript is original and not submitted elsewhere.

  •  All author details and affiliations are accurate.

  •  Abstract and keywords provided.

  •  Tables, figures, and supplementary materials formatted and cited correctly.

  •  Funding, conflicts of interest, and data availability statements included.

  •  All required disclosures and ethical statements are present.

Incomplete submissions or those not adhering to these guidelines may be delayed or returned for correction.
